This is an organization checklist only — not medical advice. It helps seniors and caregivers set up a pill organizer, track refills and prepare questions for the doctor or pharmacist. Always follow the label and your clinician’s instructions; never start, stop or change a dose because of a checklist.

Weekly setup routine

  1. Work in good light on a clean table, one medication at a time.
  2. Match each bottle label (name, strength, directions) to your medication list before opening it.
  3. Fill the organizer for one week; close each compartment as you go.
  4. Count remaining pills and note any refill needed within the next 7–10 days.
  5. Store the organizer and bottles as labeled — some need refrigeration or protection from moisture.
  6. Tick each dose in the tracker below as you take it; your ticks save in this browser and the page prints cleanly.

FAQ

What should I ask the pharmacist?

Bring your full medication and supplement list and ask about timing, food, storage, what to do after a missed dose, and anything to avoid. Pharmacists offer medication reviews — ask for one.

What if a dose is missed or doubled?

Follow the label’s instructions and call your doctor or pharmacist promptly. If someone feels unwell, seek medical help — don’t wait for the next dose time.
