Every year, falls and unsafe home layouts send millions of older adults to the emergency room. We believe families deserve honest, well-researched information about the products that can reduce that risk, without sales pressure or exaggerated claims.
Who we are
Michael Ortiz, Founder: Michael started Home-Steady after spending years helping care for aging family members and seeing firsthand how confusing it can be to choose the right safety products.
Sarah Whitfield, OT: Sarah is an Occupational Therapist with 10 years of experience helping older adults stay safe and independent at home. She reviews our bathroom safety, fall prevention, and mobility content.
